FGASA Junior offers a unique opportunity for young people to gain practical experience through our nature workshops. Our workshops by experienced professionals passionate about the environment and education ensure specialized education.

During our workshops, participants will learn about the importance of conservation and the role that they can play in protecting our planet. They will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in multiple sections, such as plant propagation, bird watching, and water quality testing.

Bush Time

When it comes to learning about nature or how to be a field guide, there is no substitute for experience in the bush..

That’s why we offer a range of bush time experiences with our FGASA Junior program. Whether you’re interested in learning how to track animals, identify plants and trees, or want to experience life in the bush, we have something for everyone.

Our experienced guides will teach you everything you need to know, and you’ll have the opportunity to put your new skills into practice in a real-world setting.

Survival experience

We offer survival experiences designed to help kids and teenagers gain vital practical bush time and to learn basic survival skills.

We believe that time in the bush can help instil a sense of responsibility in kids as they learn to care for themselves and their surroundings. And, of course, our survival experiences are also great fun!

Your children will love learning about how to build a shelter, find food and water, make a fire and tell a story.
